NWA Storm Damage Update

Storms that ripped through Northwest Arkansas this morning have forced the closure for the foreseeable future of the Goodwill Resource Center (GRC) and outlet store on 1301 N. Dixieland in Rogers, AR.

“NWA took a direct hit from this morning's storms and our location has suffered extensive damage that we are currently assessing,” stated Brian Marsh, president and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Arkansas, Inc. (GIA).”

We are grateful there was no physical harm to our employees at this location. With more than 50 employees at the Rogers GRC, we are currently looking at how to deploy them to other locations for continuity of employment for them. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Northwest Arkansas who have been affected by these storms,” Marsh added.

Opened in November 2018, the Rogers GRC and outlet store was the second GRC in Arkansas, hosting a facility that includes GIA’s reentry programs, a career center and an outlet where product is sold by the pound.

“We will be releasing updates and recovery times expected as more information becomes available,” said Marsh.

Due to a power outage from the severe storms in NWA this morning, our Bentonville Donation Center (ADC) and Rogers GRC/Outlet on N. Dixieland will be closed until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience.
