Event Description:
Join us for a job fair for veteran job seekers, active duty military members, guard and reserve members, and military spouses.  This event will be a one-of-a-kind FREE hiring fair for both employers and job seekers.

- Career Fair Strategies 8:00am to 9:00am
- Employer Panel 9:15am to 10:15am

OVERVIEW:  A ‘Career Fair Strategies’ class will be offered at the Airman & Family Readiness Center, Bldg. 940 on March 30. Topics include Dress for Success, Interview Skills, and HR Panel.

Employers are invited to attend a Brunch & Learn prior to the hiring fair at the Walters Community Support Center, Building 940, Arnold Drive, Little Rock AFB, AR 72708. Our trainers will provide insight on how to brand your company as military friendly, how to find the right veteran talent, and how to keep them engaged in your work force. Brunch will be served - free for employers, recruiters and HR professionals. The workshop begins at 10:30 a.m.

This U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s “Hiring Our Heroes” event is being conducted in partnership with the Airman and Family Readiness Center, Little Rock AFB, the U. S. Chamber Foundation, the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, the AR State Chamber of Commerce, the AR Department of Workforce Services, the AR Committee Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve (ESGR), U.S. Department of Labor Veterans Employment and Training Service (DOL VETS), U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, American Legion, Goodwill Industries International, NBC News, and other local partners.
