Event Description: Join MTCC as we celebrate Juneteenth 2017! This annual commemoration of the end of slavery is a fun-filled event rooted in history and focused on the future. Juneteenth is a time for reflection and forward thinking. With a variety of entertainment throughout the day, this block party style celebration has something for everyone—live music, children’s activities, food trucks, non-profits, and vendor booths ranging from clothing to food. With over 1,200 people in attendance last year, there are opportunities for volunteers, sponsorship, and vendor space. This year's Juneteenth promises to be the biggest and best yet!
