ATA International Opens New World Headquarters |

On Tuesday, November, 29th at 2 p.m. Arkansas’ own, ATA International will hold a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the leading martial arts organization’s new Global Headquarters at 1800 Riverfront Drive in Little Rock. “I am pleased to officially welcome the ATA World Headquarters to Arkansas. We are excited that Little Rock is now home to the world-class facility of North America’s premier martial arts organization,” said Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson. As governor, I look forward to the positive economic impact that ATA competitors and visitors from around the globe will have on our state.” ATA currently hosts the city’s largest annual convention with its World Expo. Since 1990, ATA has invited instructors, students, family and friends from all over the world to this week-long event. In 2016, ATA estimated 20,000 attendees from over 20 different countries who took part in the event. The new 45,300 square foot campus-style headquarters will be a reflection of ATA’s focus, which is providing students the highest quality martial arts instruction available that people of all ages can enjoy. The new building will be the destination for a world-class international training center, where people all over the world can come for training. The new facility includes several water features, in which water will flow from one another and symbolize the passing of knowledge from instructor to student. The World Headquarters also houses the international museum, which provides a first-class experience to tell the story of Eternal Grand Master H.U. Lee and the history of the ATA. “It is a testament to the hard work of so many that this beautiful facility was completed as quickly as it was. We appreciate the countless individuals that have contributed to make Eternal Grand Master H.U. Lee’s vision the reality he would be so proud to call home,” said Ed Wright, Chief Executive Officer of ATA International. “We look forward to welcoming each of our 300,000 members to visit Little Rock, Arkansas year round to their new state of the art ATA International World Headquarters”.
