Chambers and State Legislators Present Checks to Reward Schools

Twenty of State’s 204 Rewards Received by Schools in Pulaski County

WHAT: Public schools in Pulaski County, both traditional and charter, accounted for 20 of Arkansas’s 204 Reward Schools, totaling $714,752.64 of the state’s $7 Million total. Those schools will be recognized and presented with ceremonial checks to honor and commemorate this outstanding accomplishment.

WHY: The Arkansas School Recognition Program was created to provide financial awards to public schools that achieve high student performance, student academic growth, and high school graduation rates. Publicly recognizing these achievements provides further motivation and encouragement for the success of public schools and their administrators, in addition to financial award resources.
