Chamber Announces New Director, Business Retention and Expansion

The Little Rock Regional Chamber has hired Eddie Mraz as Director, Business Retention and Expansion. He will be responsible for existing industry expansion and retention projects, development of surveys and roundtable discussions, and creating and maintaining relationships with companies across the seven targeted sectors identified in the MetRock 2020 strategic plan.

Mraz spent the last year as a Sales Manager for McKibbon Hospitality overseeing corporate travel accounts and group business for four hotels in downtown Little Rock. Prior to his work at McKibbon, he opened a logistics office in Memphis with Crane Worldwide Logistics gaining a vast knowledge of the logistics industry and working with companies across all sectors that needed logistical help. Overall, Mraz spent four years with Crane Worldwide Logistics.

“I am excited for the opportunity to join such a dynamic team and to serve the Little Rock economic community,” said Eddie Mraz. “My goal is to be a trusted resource and advocate for industry across the region.”

His targeted work with our local companies, coupled with his logistics expertise, will lead to creating new jobs and investment for the region,” stated Jay Chesshir, President and CEO of the Little Rock Regional Chamber. 

Mraz graduated from the University of West Florida and studied abroad at the Hogeschool-Rotterdam School of Business in the Netherlands.
