The Little Rock Regional Chamber has hired Brandon Campbell as Director, Small Business and Diversity Initiatives. He will be responsible for helping facilitate growth among small businesses, promoting small business and diversity programming and engaging with entrepreneurship partners to further enhance start-up activity. With over 80% of chamber members being small business owners, Mr. Campbell will provide guidance, programming and resource opportunities to enhance economic growth and diversity in the area. A native of Little Rock, Campbell is the founder and owner of Little Rock Fashion Week, L.L.C., which produces annual weeklong events that spotlight up-and-coming fashion scenes in Little Rock, Baton Rouge, LA, and Plano, TX. He is also a founder of three other companies in Little Rock. Prior to founding LRFW, he held various positions in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles and New York. “It’s an honor to work in a group such as the chamber that’s been a major resource in my entrepreneurship career and to do it in the city that I love most,” said Brandon Campbell. “I’m ecstatic about my new role of serving the small business community, including companies owned by women and people of color. It’s my mission to help smaller enterprises in our region succeed, plus help ignite future entrepreneurs.” “We’re excited that Brandon has joined the chamber economic development team. As a successful small business owner and marketing professional, Brandon’s experience and insight will be valuable assets to small businesses and entrepreneurs in the metro Little Rock region. His background certainly strengthens our small business and diversity programming,” stated Jay Chesshir, President and CEO of the Little Rock Regional Chamber. Campbell graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in Journalism, a minor in International Studies, and a certificate in Entrepreneurship.
