Vistage Chairs Launch New Emerging Leader Training Cohort at Little Rock Regional Chamber

Barry Goldberg, of IBGoldberg ibgoldberg.com and Brad Cousins of Ingage Human Capital Strategies ingagehcs.com announced today the February 7 launch of a training and development program for high potential managers and directors to be conducted at the Little Rock Regional Chamber. This will be Arkansas’ first Vistage Emerging Leader program, a dynamic, comprehensive business and leadership curriculum that provides real world business and leadership training specifically for the middle manager. While open to all interested companies, a chamber member participant will also be provided one-on-one coaching during the program as an added benefit.

This program is a very different offering from the chamber’s long-time successful Leadership Greater Little Rock program which focuses on leadership development through civic engagement and developing a network of competent leaders for future community needs. Primarily a training environment, Emerging Leaders will bring in national experts in 12 critical business disciplines to Little Rock over the 24 month scheduled curriculum. This hands-on training environment will provide depth and capacity for early stage to mid-level leaders, most at manager or director level.

Vistage Emerging Leader program cultivates mastery by focusing on one topic at a time. In addition to the 12 workshops over a two-year period, participants are provided with a structure for creating a relationship with a mentor in the sponsoring organization which deepens opportunities to apply the learning and give the new knowledge practical value.

This Emerging Leaders cohort will be led by two experienced Vistage Chairs, Brad Cousins, PhD and I. Barry Goldberg, PCC. Both lead Vistage CEO peer advisory groups in the Little Rock area and each brings over 20 years of business and organizational depth to their work.
